About Me
Background
I've spent years building high-performance trading systems: execution flows, real-time risk controls, and market data pipelines where correctness and speed both matter. That background still shapes how I work, but today I apply it to user-facing product development.
Why Product Engineering
The part I care about most is owning the full loop: understanding the problem, shaping the product, building the system, and refining it once real people start using it. Product engineering lets me combine systems rigor with user empathy instead of choosing one or the other.
What I'm Building
My flagship project is a fintech education platform that mixes guided learning, simulation, and decision support. It's where I'm testing product ideas around onboarding, progression, and tools that help people make better financial decisions.
I also maintain ts-time-utils, an open-source TypeScript date/time library, and built mamanfari.com, a bilingual Persian recipe site with an iOS companion app.
What I Bring
- End-to-end product ownership from problem framing to shipped experience
- A bias for clear flows, pragmatic scope, and reliable delivery
- Full-stack fluency across React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node, and Firebase
- Deep domain context in trading, finance, and risk-heavy systems
